Spicers Guesthouse is a veritable shrine to the art of winemaking and wine appreciation, and from the moment you enter its hallowed halls, you’ll discover vintage hospitality, a full-bodied history, elegant service and notes of the whimsical.

Upon arrival, guests are gently embraced by the modern country farmhouse ambience: the sandstone walls and fireplace, soft luxurious furniture, sculptured gardens and pergolas spilling with vine leaves all create an atmosphere where a healthy obsession with indulgence is encouraged.

In the main common areas, the theme is accentuated by the exquisite dining tables, subtle lighting and extensive bar. The sumptuous lounge invites you to take a moment to quietly read a book, swirl a bold red, or simply chat in front of the fire. The floor to ceiling wine wall serves as a visible wine list and showcases a vast and magical selection of fine wines. It takes the guest on a fabulous adventure, all with the promise of bragging rights for a unique discovery.

With a genuine connection to the land and a menu informed by the season, éRemo explores without boundary, and without fear. Pretention is left at the door: the dishes display great depth of character and pay tribute to a cuisine famed for its passion.

The 45 thoughtfully appointed rooms and stand-alone four-bedroom cottage feature a natural palette of timber, stone and white wood, interwoven by rich ink tones and subtle accents inspired by the natural colours of the Hunter Valley. Rooms are situated within three wings – Hunter, Valley and Garden – each with a guest lounge. Ground floor rooms open onto the terrace, whilst first floor rooms provide elevated views of the property and bushland.

Conveniently surrounded by many of the biggest and brightest cellar doors, Spicers Guesthouse is the perfect launchpad for private wine tours of the many and varied local cellar doors. Beyond the vineyards, visitors can also enjoy local produce tasting, hot air ballooning, horse riding, golf, and the exquisite on-site pool.

With its variety of meeting spaces – including the 120 person Tallawanta Room, 50 person Hunter Room and 80 person Lovedale Room – Spicers Guesthouse is perfect for conferences, events and weddings.
